How Do I Unpair Tournament Partners or Players in Main Court?

Unpairing players or unregistering a team within a division of your tournament allows tournament organizers to adjust team assignments as needed. This feature ensures flexibility in managing confirmed participants while maintaining accurate records.

Step 1: To unpair players, start by navigating to “Tournament Details” and selecting the “Teams” tab. Locate the paired players you wish to unpair.

Step 2: Once identified, click the trash icon next to the team. You will then be prompted to confirm your selection. Confirming the action will unpair the players while keeping them registered within the division.

Step 3: After unpairing, the players will no longer be listed under the “Teams” section but will appear individually in the “Players” section within "Tournament Details." Each unpaired player will have a "bookmark" icon next to their profile, indicating that they are not currently partnered. Players that are paired with a partner, will not have the "bookmark" icon next to their profile.

This functionality is essential for organizers who need to make last-minute changes to team formations or adjust for player preferences. By keeping the process efficient and clear, Main Court ensures that tournament management remains seamless and professional.
