How to Add Divisions to a Tournament on Main Court
Creating divisions within your pickleball tournament is a vital step in providing a structured and inclusive experience for all participants. Divisions allow organizers to categorize players based on skill level, age group, or match format, ensuring a competitive and enjoyable event.
Step 1: Once your Tournament has been approved, hit the "+" button at the bottom of the home page and click Create New Tournament. Select "Existing" to then add begin adding divisions to your tournament and therefore invite players to play in your tournament.

Step 2: Choose the tournament from your list for which you would like to create divisions.

Step 3: Create the Division
For each division, update the following fields:
Division Title: Use simple titles such as "Men's 3.5" or "Women's 4.0." These will be easier to find in searches and are typically used by players.
Gender: Specify the gender for the division.
Time: Set the appropriate time for the division.
Skill Level: Adjust the skill range as needed. For example, a 3.5 division could be set as "3.5 - 3.9" if you want to allow players below 4.0 to participate.



Step 4: Once all fields are updated, press “Next” to finish the setup. At this stage, you will have the option to invite players to your division.

Step 5: Repeat the previous steps to add additional divisions needed for the tournament.
Setting up clear, well defined divisions ensures your tournament runs smoothly and delivers the right competitive balance for every player involved. Taking the time to properly structure divisions improves player satisfaction, simplifies registration, and helps create a professional event experience from start to finish.
