How do I send emails to tournament players?
The email tournament players feature on Main Court is a powerful tool for maintaining effective communication with players, whether individually or within specific groups or divisions. Using this feature allows you to keep participants informed, send reminders, and engage both current and past players.
Benefits:
Sending regular emails to players is crucial for promoting your tournament and keeping participants updated on important details leading up to the event. You can use emails to send reminders to confirmed players and encourage them to invite others to join. Reaching out to past tournament participants through email is also an excellent way to re-engage experienced players and foster a sense of community.
Step by Step "How To" :
Step 1: To send an email to players in a specific division of your tournament, start by navigating to your scheduled tournaments and selecting the division you want to contact.
Step 2: Once you are in the desired division, select the "Email Players" option to begin drafting your message.
Step 3: Draft your email in the text box field. If you find that the content of your email is relevant to all brackets and divisions of your tournament, you can tick the box at the bottom of the screen to send the drafted email to all registered players in the tournament. Once you have completed your draft and opted in or out of the option to send the email out to all players across all divisions of your tournament, click send!
Step 4: If you did not tick the box to send your email to players across all divisions, select the confirmed players who should receive the email. This process ensures that your communication reaches the right audience, keeping them informed and engaged.
The email feature is an effective way to build anticipation, share updates, and strengthen your connection with the Main Court community, making your events more successful and inclusive.
