Why can't I register for a Tournament or Division on Main Court?
Overview
If you’re unable to register for a tournament or division on Main Court, it’s likely due to eligibility requirements that ensure fair competition and smooth registration processes. These requirements are based on factors such as skill level, gender, or other division-specific rules.
Common Reasons You Can’t Register
Skill Level Mismatch
Your skill level must fall within the range set for the division. If your skill level exceeds or falls below this range, you won’t be able to register.
How to Fix It
Check your current skill level in your profile.
If it’s incorrect, update it by tapping the pencil icon next to your skill level or request a change through Support Settings in your profile.
Gender Requirement
Some tournaments require gender balance (e.g., equal numbers of men and women). If your gender is set incorrectly or marked as Prefer Not to Say, you may not meet this requirement.
How to Fix It
Navigate to your profile and edit your gender setting.
Ensure it matches the division’s gender requirements.
Division Rules
Each division may have specific criteria, such as age or other qualifications. Review the tournament details to confirm you meet all requirements.
Tips for Successful Registration
Verify your skill level and update it if needed.
Check and adjust your gender settings to meet the division requirements.
Carefully review the tournament or division rules to ensure eligibility.
