How Do I Pair Tournament Partners in Main Court?

Pairing partners in a tournament division is an essential task for organizers to ensure smooth gameplay and team coordination. Main Court simplifies this process by allowing you to assign partnerships directly from the tournament details page.

Step 1: To begin, navigate to “Tournament Details” and scroll down to the list of confirmed players. If a player has not been paired with a partner, a "bookmark" icon will appear on their profile. Select the "bookmark" icon to initiate the pairing process. You will then be prompted to choose a partner for this player from a list of confirmed players who are also not yet paired.

Step 2: Once you select the desired partner, confirm the pairing. The "bookmark" icon will then be removed from the player's profile in the confirmed player list, indicating that they have been successfully paired.

To view the teams and partnerships that have been created, stay within the "Tournament Details" section and select the "Teams" tab located next to the "Players" tab. This will display all the teams currently formed within the division, providing a clear overview of the partnerships.

This intuitive process ensures that organizers can efficiently manage pairings and maintain accurate team records, contributing to a well-organized and successful tournament experience.
