Who Sees my Main Court Social Posts?

Main Court Social is designed to give you the most impact on Main Court and in the Main Court Community!

To achieve this, players, organizers and companies (clubs and brands) each have different visibility benefits.

Players & Groups:

Your posts are seen by your friends! So, friend request more people in the app and grow your network. The best way to do this is tap the Friends button on the bottom right and see who from your phone contacts are already in the app and send them a friend request. Next, send friend requests to players that you've recently played or are confirmed to play with in the future.

To gain more visibility, you can collaborate with accounts in the app when you're creating a social post. This allows the post to be seen by your friends and their friends! To do this, press the plus button where it says Collaborators. If you think your content for the whole Main Court community to enjoy and appreciate, collaborate with Main Court. Keep in mind these posts, generally wouldn't be posts that only benefit a certain region or type of user.

Lastly, you can post to your Groups. Usually, groups have themes. One might be Paddle & Gear Talk, another is San Diego Events & Tournaments. If you post to these groups, your post will be seen by group members and group members only (not your friends). However, these groups ask that posts stay on topic.

Organizers

Your posts are seen by your friends! So add more friends in the app. Read the Players paragraphs above and find out the best way to add friends in the app.

And organizers, you're in luck! If you're running a social event or tournament in the app, we have automated posts that go into the feed that get your event maximum exposure. These posts are seen by everyone who fits the qualifications of the social or tournament divisions in a 50-mile radius. In other words, if your tournament has a division that is 4.0-4.4 men's doubles. Only men in a 50-mile radius of the event who are at that level will receive that automated promotional post. The great news is that this applies to each division you have! These posts go out at event creation, 7 days to go and 48 prior to event start time.

If you want additional exposure, we ask that you post beneficial content in the feed that benefits your pickleball community. This could be a tip video, tournament tips to have a better experience, funny content, informative content, anything that you think is to the benefit of the community. If you post 2 of those per week, then you can post 1 event-related post. Even better, we'll attach a CTA and link below that post to direct players to the registration page.

Companies (Clubs and Brands):

Clubs:

Your posts are seen by everyone in a 50-mile radius! To unlock this benefit all you have to do is post 2 beneficial posts to the community (tip videos, community posts, new updates, etc.). If you do that, you'll also be able to post 1 event-related post to the feed that will be seen by everyone in that area. We will attach a CTA & link below the post, so players who press on the CTA will be immediately guided to the registration page.

Brands:

Your content will be seen by everyone in the feed! To get this benefit, we ask that you achieve the golden ratio of 3 beneficial posts (tips videos, community-driven content, funny, exciting, inspirational, interesting, etc.). The 3rd post can be a bit more of an advertisement-looking post. This will give your brand recognition, build community and increase sales. On your profile page, we will attach a CTA & link directed to your website. If you would like CTAs below your posts, this would be more of a sponsored ad.
