Why am I not receiving invites by email on Main Court
If you’re not receiving invites via email from Main Court, there could be a few reasons why. Below are the most common scenarios and steps to resolve the issue:
1. Incorrect Email Address on Your Account
- Double-check the email address associated with your Main Court account. If it is incorrect, invites and notifications will not be delivered to you.
- To resolve this:
- Log in to the Main Court app.
- Navigate to to your profile by clicking on the top left hand image on the Home Page. Then click the edit icon pencil on the top right hand side.
- Verify and update your email address if necessary.
- Save the changes and request a test invite or notification to confirm.
2. Registered Using Apple ID with "Hide My Email" Enabled
If you registered with Sign in with Apple and selected Hide My Email, Apple created a private relay email address (e.g., xyz123@privaterelay.appleid.com
) to forward emails to your actual inbox. However, there are a few potential issues:
The Relay Email is Disabled:
If you’ve disabled email forwarding in your Apple ID settings or removed Main Court’s access, the relay email will no longer forward messages to your actual inbox.
Relay Email Expired or Invalid:
Apple relay email addresses can become inactive if you uninstall the app, revoke access, or delete your Apple ID.
How to Resolve:
- Check Apple ID Settings:
- Go to your Apple device's Settings.
- Tap your Apple ID Name > Password & Security > Apps Using Apple ID.
- Locate Main Court in the list and ensure email forwarding is enabled.
If the app no longer has access, you may need to re-register with a new email.
Update Your Email Address in Main Court:
- If you prefer not to use Apple’s private relay, log in to Main Court.
- Navigate to Settings or Account Info.
- Manually enter your direct email address to ensure you receive future invites.
