Not Receiving Invites from Players in Main Court
If you're not receiving invites on Main Court, it’s likely because your notification settings for invites are not enabled. Follow the steps below to ensure you’re set up correctly to receive invites from other players.
Steps to Enable Invites in Notifications
Open the Main Court App
Ensure you’re logged into your account.
Go to Your Profile
Click on the image icon at the home page's top left-hand side to open your profile.
Access the Settings Menu
In your profile, tap on the Settings menu.
Navigate to Notifications Settings
In the settings menu, find and select the Notifications option.
Enable Invites
Find the Invitation for Matches toggle at the top and make sure it is set to ON. This will enable you to receive notifications for invites sent by other players.
Allow Notifications for Matches (Recommended)
Ensure the toggle for Match Notifications is also set to ON. This sends a push notification to your phone whenever you’re invited to a match.
How Match Invites Are Sent
In-App Notification
Match invites appear in the app under the Notifications section.
Push Notification
If notifications are enabled for matches, a push notification will be sent to your phone.
Email
An invite will also be sent to the email address associated with your account.
Additional Tips
Check Your Email
Ensure your registered email address is correct and that Main Court emails are not being filtered into your spam/junk folder.
App Notifications Permission
Verify that notifications are allowed for the Main Court app in your phone’s settings:
- On iOS: Go to Settings > Notifications > Main Court and ensure notifications are enabled.
- On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Main Court > Notifications and enable notifications.
Internet Connection
Make sure you have an active internet connection to receive real-time notifications.
