How does the Recommendation System work on Main Court?
The Main Court recommendation system elevates your experience by helping you connect with players who stand out in skill, sportsmanship, and trustworthiness. This system is especially valuable for finding new players who are trusted within the community. Each player can only be recommended once by another player, meaning a player with 50 recommendations has been endorsed by 50 unique individuals.
Unrated (0 - 9 Recommendations):
Players with fewer than 10 recommendations are considered unrated. This level encourages others to provide feedback, helping new or less active players grow their skills and sportsmanship.
Recommended (10 - 30 Recommendations):
Players with 10 to 30 recommendations gain “Recommended” status. At this level, they’ve shown enough interaction and consistency to be recognized, making them appealing partners to play with.
Highly Recommended (31 - 99 Recommendations):
Players with 31 to 99 recommendations earn the “Highly Recommended” badge. These players are known for being excellent partners, consistently demonstrating reliability, sportsmanship, and skill.
Main Court All-Star (100 - 1000 Recommendations):
Players with 100 or more recommendations achieve the prestigious “Main Court All-Star” status. These top-tier players are celebrated for their skill, sportsmanship, and dependability, making them the go-to choice for competitive and enjoyable games.
By allowing each player to be recommended only once by another, the system ensures that recommendations truly reflect community trust. This fosters stronger connections within the pickleball community and helps players confidently find reliable partners for their matches.
This system strengthens trust and camaraderie within the pickleball community while improving the quality of play and collaboration for everyone involved.
