How Bonus Points for Wins Work for Round Robins on Main Court

Bonus Points for Wins give organizers another way to reward winning teams and players during a Round Robin. When enabled, bonus points are automatically added to a player's or team's Total Points each time they win a match.

How to Enable Bonus Points for Wins

During Round Robin creation, organizers can enable the Bonus Points for Wins option in the scoring and standings section of setup.

Once enabled, Main Court will automatically award bonus points to the winner of each match.

How Bonus Points Affect Standings

Bonus points are automatically added to Total Points and will appear in the standings once the match score has been submitted. If score confirmation is enabled for the event, the bonus points will not be applied until the score has been confirmed. Because bonus points are added to Total Points, they can impact rankings when Total Points is included in the standings order selected by the organizer.

Bonus Points for Wins are a simple way to place additional emphasis on winning while still allowing organizers to use other standings criteria throughout their Round Robin.

Now you know how Bonus Points for Wins work and how they can be used to create more competitive Round Robins on Main Court.
