Using the Filter Menu on Main Court

The filter menu on Main Court is a versatile tool that allows you to refine your search and locate specific players, groups, or courts with ease. The filter button appears in various areas throughout the app, including the nano boxes on the home page and the search feature. By applying criteria through the filter menu, you can narrow down results to meet your exact needs. Below, we detail how to use the filter menu effectively when searching for players, groups, or courts on Main Court.

Search For a Player Using the Filter Menu

To search for a player using the filter menu, start by selecting the search button on the Main Court home page. (Located at the bottom)

From there, you can search for players in the network, groups, or courts. If you are searching for a particular player but cannot recall their name, the filter menu can help narrow down the options.

For example, you might filter for a player who is a Main Court Coach, has a skill level between 3.4 and 4.5, is between the ages of 25 and 70, and is female. Once these criteria are applied and saved, the network list may reduce significantly, potentially down to a single player, allowing you to find the person you are looking for with ease.

Search for a Group Using the Filter Menu

When searching for a group, start by selecting the search button on the Main Court home page, then choose "Groups" and access the filter menu in the top right corner.

Here, you can apply filters based on location, the radius from that location, required skill levels, type of group, and associated courts. This feature is particularly helpful for newcomers to an area who want to find and join local groups that match their preferences and skill level.

Search for Courts Using the Filter Menu

To search for courts, begin by selecting the search button on the Main Court home page and then choose "Courts."

The filter menu allows you to refine your search based on options such as public or private courts, indoor or outdoor facilities, the number of courts available, and the number of Main Court users who consider it their home court. For instance, you might search for a private indoor court that does not require membership and has at least two courts, a useful option if you need an indoor facility due to weather conditions.

In summary, the filter menu on Main Court is a powerful tool designed to simplify your search for players, groups, or courts. By applying specific criteria, you can focus your search and find exactly what you need, whether you’re connecting with other players, joining local groups, or locating suitable courts. With these tools, Main Court ensures a seamless and tailored experience for all users.
