Why Use Groups on Main Court?

At Main Court, we believe in fostering a community that celebrates the spirit of pickleball. Groups make it easy to organize matches, leagues, and social gatherings without the hassle of searching through your entire network for every game. Whether it’s a casual Tuesday match or a competitive league on Saturday, groups are your go-to for seamless planning.

How to Create a Group

Access the Groups Feature

Tap the Search icon at the bottom of the screen.

Select Groups, then tap Create a New Group at the top right.

Customize Your Group

Add a group photo and name to set the vibe.

Include a home club for the group, if applicable.

Define the group type and skill level to ensure matches are competitive.

Choose Group Visibility

Private Group is for exclusive invite-only sessions.

Public Group is open to new members, allowing you to grow your network. As a public group organizer, you control who joins, maintaining the group’s dynamics.

Add a Group Description

Write a short description to highlight your group’s purpose and spirit.

How to Invite Players to Your Group

Within your group, scroll down to Invite Members and Press the Invite Members button.

Use the Search function to find players by name.

Select the checkbox next to the player’s name and tap Invite.

Players will receive a push notification and can find group invites under Notifications > Invites.

Managing Your Group

Monitor Invitations and Joins

Group organizers receive push notifications and updates in the Notifications area when a player joins.

Remove Players

Organizers can discreetly remove players from the group without sending notifications.
