How To Create an Open Play on Main Court
"Open Play" is a casual event where players can show up at a designated time and location to play pickleball without needing to pre-arrange partners or games. Follow these steps to create a new Open Play event and make it visible to the Main Court community.
*Note: Main Court only allow parks & clubs that reach out to Main Court at info@maincourt.com to post their Open Plays on the app & website.
Step 1: To begin, access the home page and locate the plus sign at the bottom center of your screen.
Step 2: Selecting this icon will open a menu of event options that you can create. From the list of options, choose "Open Play" to proceed.
Step 3: Once you have selected "Open Play," you will be prompted to fill in the required details for your event. These details include the date, time, location, duration of the session and cost (if applicable). Ensure all the required fields are completed accurately. After providing the necessary information, select "Create" to finalize your event. You will receive an immediate confirmation indicating that your Open Play event has been successfully created.
After creation, the event will automatically appear in your scheduled Open Play sessions and in My Schedule (the top middle button in the app)
If players say they are Going or Register, it will automatically notify their friends that they are attending Open Play and will be added to the list of players going to Open Play.
Organizing an Open Play event is a great way to foster community interaction and provide opportunities for enjoyable and inclusive pickleball sessions.
