Why Location Settings Are Important

Location settings are critical to ensuring you get the best experience on Main Court. By allowing location access, you enable the app to:

• Display nearby matches, events, and courts based on your location.
• Provide accurate search results for local players, clubs, and events.
• Help organizers match you with players or events in your area.

If you don’t allow location settings, the boxes on the homepage may appear empty because the app cannot identify your location.

How to Enable Location Settings

iPhone Instructions

1. Open your phone’s Settings.
2. Scroll down and select Main Court from the list of apps.
3. Tap Location and choose one of the following:
   • While Using the App: Recommended for ongoing app use.
   • Always: Ensures location updates even when the app isn’t active.
4. Ensure Precise Location is toggled ON for accurate results.

Android Instructions

1. Open your phone’s Settings.
2. Go to Apps or App Management (may vary by device).
3. Find and select Main Court from the list of apps.
4. Tap Permissions and then select Location.
5. Choose Allow Only While Using the App or Allow All the Time (recommended for background updates).

Key Notes

• Location settings are requested when you first download the app. If you denied access during setup, you can change it anytime by following the steps above.
• Without location access, Main Court cannot display local events or matches, which significantly impacts the user experience.
