Refunds with Main Court

Refund Process

Main Court uses Stripe as our payment processor, ensuring that all transactions, including refunds, are handled securely and efficiently.

1. When Refunds Are Issued:
   • Refunds are processed when an event organizer cancels an event or a player cancels within the allowed refund window.
   • Players are not eligible for refunds after the cancellation deadline set by the organizer.
   • If not otherwise specified, players have until 24 hours before the tournament starts to cancel their spot.
   • Refund Timing:
   • Once initiated, refunds are processed immediately on Main Court's end.

   • Stripe typically takes 5–10 business days to return the funds to the player’s original payment method. This timing may vary depending on the bank or card issuer.

     Fees and Refunds:

   • Stripe does not refund its transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30) for refunded payments.
   • This means the organizer may incur these costs even if the player is refunded.
