How Payments Work on Main Court
Main Court manages the payment workflow, while Stripe securely handles payment processing and payouts.
When a player pays for a match or event:
- The payment is processed by Stripe
- The funds are placed into your connected Stripe Express account
- Main Court controls payout timing and refund handling through the platform
👉 Main Court does not directly store your funds.
This system helps ensure a secure and reliable experience for both organizers and players.
Why Funds Are Not Immediately Available
When a player pays for a match, league, lesson, clinic, or event:
- The payment is processed immediately
- The funds appear within your Stripe Express account
- The funds are temporarily held before payout
Payouts are only released after:
- The event or activity has started
- The cancellation window has passed
This allows eligible refunds to be processed before payouts are released.
