Why Does Main Court Ask for Gender
Main Court asks for your gender during account creation to ensure accurate participation in tournaments and events. Gender is a necessary detail for activities such as registering for divisions like "Gender Doubles" and "Mixed Doubles," where gender plays a role in organizing teams and competition structure. This information is also valuable for organizers and players looking to partner with others.
Gender tags for confirmed players in tournaments or events will be displayed to assist organizers in planning divisions and ensuring proper placements.
It is important to note that if you select "Prefer Not to Say," you will be unable to register for Men's, Women's, or Mixed tournaments. However, if you initially chose this option and later wish to participate in an event or tournament, you can update your gender selection through your profile settings.
Steps To Make Changes to your Gender Selection:
Step 1: Navigate to your account by selecting the profile icon in the top left corner of the home page.
Step 2: Once there, click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of your profile.
Step 3: Make the necessary change to your gender selection and save it before returning to the home page.
This process ensures Main Court provides organizers and players with the necessary information to maintain accurate and inclusive event management while respecting individual preferences.
