What are Open Matches on Main Court
Open Matches on Main Court are one of the fastest ways to get on the court.
Open Matches include games you’ve been invited to as well as matches marked as “Open” by the organizer during setup. These matches are visible across the platform, primarily to players who meet the skill level and criteria. If a player adjusts their filters, they may also see Open Matches outside their typical range.
Visibility is based on each user’s selected radius at the top of their Home Page, meaning what you see is fully personalized. Most players set their radius between 25 and 50 miles. Within that range, you’ll see Open Matches that align with the organizer’s skill level settings.
Because organizers often mark matches as Open, it creates more opportunities for players to jump in, fill open spots, and connect with new people. Whether you’re looking to find a game quickly or need a fourth, Open Matches make it simple.
Steps To Access Open Matches:
Step 1: To access Open Matches, navigate to the Open Matches section in the app.
Step 2: From there, you can browse the list of available matches based on your location and skill level.
Step 3: Select a match to view all the relevant details. If you want to play in the match and open spots are available, you can "Request to Play." This will notify the organizer, who can then approve your request. If you have been accepted, you will receive a Push notification, which will be in your updates area within Notifications. If you have not met the person before, you should send a chat or an email to ensure you are all set.
Step 4: If there are no open spots, you can "Join the Waitlist," the organizer will receive a notification that you have joined their waitlist. Should a spot open up, then the Organizer has the option to accept you from the Waitlist, and you will be notified.

If you have requested to play in an open match that still has open spots remaining, the organizer will receive this notification:
If the organizer "Accepts" your request to play, you will immediately receive this notification:
Matches that you are a confirmed player in will appear in My Schedule, in the top middle of your home page.
